Pure gold leaf in booklet, 24 karats
The book format is one of the traditional methods for packaging gold leaf sheets and consists of inserting the leaves into the pages of a booklet, in loose or transfer form.
Genuine loose gold leaf is available in different sizes and thicknesses, depending on the color, and can be applied using the oil or water gilding technique. Loose gold leaf is especially suitable for restoration and for use on carved surfaces.
Transfer gold leaf, available in different sizes depending on the color chosen, is laid on tissue paper, which facilitates handling and speeds up the gilding of flat surfaces.
Leaves are simply pressed onto the tissue paper without the use of any glue. Different degrees of pressure can be used depending on the work to be carried out. It is always recommended for use in outdoor gilding. Genuine gold transfer leaf is ideal for gilding on smooth, flat or rounded/curved surfaces, like works of art, domes, modern architectural structures, monuments, lettering and interior design, and is packaged in 25-page booklets for bulk orders.
